The Greene County wrestling team traveled to Manson Northwest Webster Jan. 23, going 2-0 against CAM and the host school, then took fourth at the powerful AC/GC Charger Invitational on Saturday.
According to IAwrestle’s newest rankings, senior Gavin Scheuermann at 157 and junior Brent Dennhardt at 165 are both ranked fourth at their weight in Class 2A.
The Rams went 2-0 on Tuesday, beating CAM and Manson Northwest Webster. In all varsity meets, there were only three Rams losses throughout the two duals.

Charger Invitational
The team took a trip to AC/GC High School in Guthrie Center on Saturday to compete in the annual Charger Invitational. The team placed fourth out of 22 teams in attendance. Seven Rams brought home individual places, including Brent Dennhardt 165, first; Crew Conner 138 and Gavin Scheuermann 157, second; Brennan Jacobs 113 and Degan Miller 175, fifth; and Jaron Jacobs 106 and Jackson Turner 150, sixth.
